PERSEVERANCE
Getting into medical school was hard and now that you're in, it's even harder.
You knew it would be hard but never imagined it was THIS kind of hard. You’re missing home & family. The workload feels endless. You’ve lost confidence in yourself. You’re afraid to fail. You're questioning if you’re cut out for this.
STOP! You are exactly where you are supposed to be!
I have felt like this and I know many others who have too and many others farther along than us who did too. This stage of the journey is tough but you will get through it!
NOW, say these affirmations with me:
🗣 It will get better.
🗣 I will make it.
🗣 I will enjoy the process.
🗣 I am getting stronger.
🗣 I am making progress.
Success. Confidence. Fulfilment. Will surely come. Just keep pressing forward.
In the meantime, take it day by day and celebrate the small wins.
