ADAPTABILITY
In medical school, there are good days and bad days. Your mood varies day to day and productivity may even vary by the hour.
Every day may not be your most productive day but set realistic goals for what’s feasible and celebrate those little wins.
When you sense that your productivity or energy is lacking, adjust accordingly. That may be changing the environment, choosing a different task or discipline to review or picking something light that doesn’t require as much brainpower. And remember, some days it's okay to just close the books/iPad/laptop recuperate and then get back at it the next day feeling refreshed. At the end of the day, always be proud of what you were able to accomplish, and its progress. Also, be open to refining your study techniques so that you’re only employing strategies that work for you and that are efficient.

What has helped me is taking it lecture by lecture, hour by hour and being PRESENT on the task at hand.
If the day doesn't go as planned and I’m behind on my schedule, I REARRANGE it. No need to fuss over it or choose to be disappointed. I made it the schedule, so I can tweak it to my liking and productivity!
Let your schedule adapt to you NOT the other way around! But also, set realistic goals.

Most of all, when you go to sleep that night or take a break, LEAVE the troubles and disappointment behind so you can wake up the next day or RESTART the next hour, you do so with a fresh mind.✨🔋😇

Be kind to yourself and be flexible with your plans. 🙏🏾
